UPdated COVID-19 Response (March 31, 2020)

We are certainly living in strange times.  Only a month ago the decisions we are now having to face were unthinkable.  And yet, here we find ourselves.  The reality is that in light of the COVID-19 situation the Federal and State governments have given directives that only essential workers and gatherings occur though the month of April.  Out of respect for the governing authorities that God has placed over us and our desire to slow the spread of the Cornavirus, the Servant Leadership Team of ElmCreek has extended the cancelation of all church events effective immediately through April 30.

Though disappointing, we understand the decisions made by the government are for all gatherings in general, not only places of worship.  So, we will honor and obey that decision.

We encourage families and individuals from ElmCreek to worship in their homes through the month of April.  Pastor Mark will be providing a written devotional and short video for use each Sunday morning.  A video call led by an elder will be available each Sunday morning for the discussion of the questions.  If you are interested in joining that call please let Pastor Mark know at mark@elmcreekchurch.org.

Until this strange time passes into history, be creative in your care for one another and your neighbors.  Spend your extra time in the reading of the Word of God and prayer.  Anticipate the glorious day that we will once again gather together as the body of Christ.  Each day is a gift and opportunity to live for and be changed by God.

Praise His glorious name,

Your ECC Servant Leadership Team
