Crazy Love Chapter 2 Questions
1) Did you do anything different this past week as a result of last weeks study? Why or why not? What did you do?
2) Read Jeremiah 29:11 - How do you feel knowing God has a plan for you. Do you think you are on track and following it?
3) Chan says we “live caught up in ourselves.” Does this describe you? How would the world be different if we all lived as if each day would be our last day?
Read the letter “Since I have My Life Before Me” by Brooke Bronkowski out loud in your group. (page 48)
4) Do you th ink it is possible for all of us to be like Brooke? Why or why not?
5) In her letter, Brooke says she will set an example for others. How do you/will you set an example for others?
Read Philippians 4:8
6) Now think about the things that you th ink about, how you spend your time, the things that excite you, the things you are passionate about. Do you think this reflects God working in and through you?
7) What do you want people to think and say about you. Do you strive to be popular, in with the crowd, the center of attention?
8) Medieval philosophers kept a skull on their desks as a constant reminder of the nearness of death. That’s kinda dark, but it worked for them. Without going to that extreme, what’s something you could keep on your key chain or saved on your iPod or stord in your cell phone to keep yourself aware that our life is truly a vapor?
9) Do you need to change anything in your life as a result of what you have read in this chapter? What is it? Will you share it with friends and family to help keep you accountable?
